Elizabeth and James is a couture fashion label created by two iconic blondes who once began as darling actresses and have transcended into major leaders in the world of fashion today. Can you guess who they are??? Yes! The Olsen Twins! Growing up I could not get enough of these two girls. The Olsen's have made considerable impacts starting out as just babies on the loved TV show Full House to creating their own adorable mystery movies. They are an absolute inspiration today.
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen began their modern lifestyle brand, Elizabeth and James, in 2004. This line is focused on the new generation thus explaining the origins of the design name, Elizabeth and James, which comes from the twins' younger sister and brother. Fashion forecasters have described this line as, "Downtown meets uptown in an updated mix of silhouettes in luxurious fabrics for the trend-conscious customer."
The line over the years has consistently proven to push forward amongst style leaders and not simply follow the trends but set them. The girl that wears this line is downtown chic, confident in herself, and ready for anything that comes her way - yet there is still a balance of whimsical romance to the looks as well.
